Test and Measurement Teseq expands field probe calibration service

EMC test firm Teseq has expanded its field probe calibration service to cover all frequencies defined in IEC 61000-4-3.

“The company can now offer field probe calibration data to 6GHz, allowing customers to compensate for frequency variations within the probe with greater precision,” said the firm. “In addition, probe linearity data can also be provided.”

This is the first step in a two year programme to push probe calibration to 18GHz at Teseq’s Wokingham facility where it has two screened room antenna calibration chambers.

The firm has UKAS approval for both testing at its own facility and also for customers premises conducted immunity calibration. “This is an increasingly popular service with customers needing to increase equipment availability,” said Teseq.

Calibration of harmonics and flicker in line with the requirements of EN61000-3-2 and -3 are also available.
