Vishay has introduced 10 solderable hyperfast and ultrafast recovery rectifiers “that include the industry’s first 3A devices in the SMA package, 3A and 4A devices in the SMB package, and 4A and 5A devices in the SMC package,” claimed the firm.

Called ‘FRED Pt’ rectifiers, recovery is said to be both fast and soft, with times from 30-45ns depending on model.
